Arwen Joanna Buxton and Brooke Marie Chambers are currently in their Sixth Year at Hogwarts School of Wizardry. Both girls grew up in what one would call the typical Middle-Classed suburbia of London, and as such have acquired a certain sense of humour that seems to grate against the snobbier young wizards and witches of the school -- sometimes by mistake, sometimes purposefully. During their earlier years at the institute, they perhaps acquired some attention from their fellow First and Second Years for a range of silly pranks that got them put into detention for a few weeks -- but, other than that, they are simply just another two miscreant youths in love with Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, the Godfather movies, and fashion. Among other things.

As well as best friends, the girls are also first cousins through marriage, Brooke being an athletic pureblood who excels in CoMC and DAtDA, and Arwen a creative halfblooded more keen at art and runes. Pointing out any faint resemblance between the two girls seems to have long since lost its charm—resulting in mutual eyerolls and sarcasm from them both. Though with many coinciding interests and hobbies, they acknowledge they're quite a Ying and Yang.
